This work began from thinking about how restricted women are in their use of public spaces, how hard it is for women to feel they can have safe passage in the world.

Two weeks after the work was finished I found myself attending a vigil in Princes Park in honour of Eurydice Dixon, who had been raped and murdered in that public space, just five nights earlier
